Fournès, a small country village, has fallen asleep. There is no longer a café, the grocery store has closed, the priest is almost never there. The residents rarely meet. One day, a company comes with a new industrial project to be built on the large vacant plot at the entrance of the village: a huge Amazon warehouse. Passions break loose, words and hands are thrown in the air. New debates push the inhabitants out of their homes, a current passes through Fournès and shakes it from its torpor.
