Prato is the European city with the highest proportion of Chinese population, known as the capital of Italy’s textile industry. Through the perspectives of a second-generation Chinese pianist from Wenzhou, a Pakistani cricket team captain and small factory owner, and a young Italian left-wing political activist, the film delves into the intertwined destinies of these three ethnic groups amid the rise and fall of Prato’s textile industry, resembling an intricate web woven from silk threads.
